The S is proof that entry-level does not mean stripped. It carries the 12.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital gauge display, cloth seats, and 16-inch wheels with covers, in FWD or AWD.

The core driver-assistance suite comes along, too. SV is where most Metro East buyers land. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto go wireless, a wireless charging pad joins the console, remote start pre-cools the cabin in August and pre-warms it in January, and automatic climate control takes over from the manual dials.

Rolling on 17-inch wheels with roof rails, the SV also opens the door to the options sheet: heated front seats and heated mirrors come in a Cold Weather Package, a Premium Package brings a panoramic moonroof, the Intelligent Around View Monitor is available, and AWD versions can be built as the new Rock Creek.

Rock Creek arrives for 2027 as the first off-pavement Kicks. Nissan builds it on the SV AWD and adds an exclusive Off-Road drive mode that allows more wheel slip on loose surfaces, Hill Descent Control for steep grades, and a roof rack with cross bars rated to carry 165 pounds of gear.

Styling follows function: a unique grille, gloss black exterior trim, amber daytime running lights, and 17-inch Rock Creek alloys outside; TailorFit seats with ballistic nylon accents, heated front seats, and a heated TailorFit-wrapped steering wheel inside. An HD Intelligent Around View Monitor and a spare tire round out the kit.
