Exploring the Enhanced Comfort and Technology of the 2024 Nissan Altima

All five trim levels of the 2024 Nissan Altima are available with a front-wheel drive drivetrain as standard. The SV, SR, and SL models are also available with an AWD drivetrain. The overall EPA-Estimated fuel economy between these drivetrains isn’t too different, either. For example, the SV FWD gets an EPA-estimated 27 MPG in the city, 39 MPG on the highway, or 32 MPG combined, while the SV AWD model gets 26 MPG in the city, 36 MPG on the highway, or 30 MPG combined, as estimated by the EPA.

The standard engine for the first four tiers is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that has an output of 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque for the FWD models, and 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque for the AWD model. The Altima SR VC-Turbo has a similar engine but beefs up the powertrain a bit to produce 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.

S

Standard comfort features of the base S model include a six-way manual adjustable driver’s seat, a 60/40 rear folding seat, cloth seat material, and a five-passenger seating capacity. This trim also has a six-speaker stereo system, wireless audio streaming, a driver information center, and a seven-inch touchscreen.

SV

Key interior features of the SV include an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, satellite radio, illuminating steering wheel-mounted controls, and speed-sensitive volume. Voice recognition is also available via Siri Eyes Free and Google Assistant.

The SL trim also comes with a nine-speaker Bose audio system, the Hello Nissan virtual personal assistant, and turn-by-turn navigation with an integrated voice-activated navigation system.

SR VC-Turbo

The highest trim level has true luxury features such as full Sport Leather upholstery. It also brings a seven-inch multi-function information display, a three-month SiriusXM Traffic trial, NissanConnect MapCare, trials for NissanConnect services, wireless charging, and a 12.3-inch NissanConnect touchscreen display.

Driver Assistance Technology
