Power for every 2027 Rogue comes from a 1.5-liter three-cylinder that combines a turbocharger, direct injection, and Nissan's VC-Turbo variable-compression design, giving it an 8.0:1 to 14.0:1 compression range. Fed regular unleaded, it puts out 201 hp along with 225 lb-ft, the most standard torque among gas engines in its class, according to Nissan.

The retuned CVT earns its keep on the ramp onto I-64. Every Rogue's selector offers Auto, Eco, and Sport, and Intelligent AWD models get a five-mode dial that adds Snow and Off-Road. Front-wheel drive on an S, SV, or Dark Armor is the efficiency pick, with Nissan-published EPA estimates of 28 mpg in town, 33 on the highway, and 30 combined.

Four of the five grades center the dash on an 8-inch NissanConnect screen that connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto by cable, and a 7-inch cluster screen serves as the Advanced Drive-Assist Display. The SV and above add a Wi-Fi hotspot, a pair of charge-only rear USB-C ports, and Remote Engine Start linked to Intelligent Climate Control for frosty Shiloh mornings.

Every 2027 Rogue gets LED headlamps, daytime running lights, and taillights, plus a 0.33 drag coefficient. Wheel sizes climb by grade, from 17-inch alloys for the S to 18s for the SV and a distinct 19-inch design each for Dark Armor and Platinum, while Rock Creek pairs 17-inch dark-painted alloys with Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires.

Dark Armor turns its grille, badges, mirrors, and pillar trim gloss black and adds satin black roof rails. Rock Creek gets its own front fascia with a mesh grille, Lava Red accent pieces, and a tubular roof rack. Platinum alone offers two-tone paint, putting a Super Black roof over the body color, and shares a panoramic moonroof with Dark Armor.

The two front seats and both rear outboard positions are Zero Gravity designs that Nissan bills as class-exclusive. The second-row bench reclines, splits 60/40, and gets dedicated A/C vents, and the back doors swing out to almost a right angle, so strapping in a child seat takes less wrestling.
